Vanilla Mousse With Edible Spoons
Mousse, it is one of those desserts that everyone loves. A light and airy dessert, often creamy it makes a lovely end to a meal. It looks elegant served in a glass dish as a finish to a dinner party. It is also really simple to make. The only effort involved is whisking, lots of whisking.
Luckily for me my son loves using the electric mixer, he sees it as a novelty. Making the mousse mainly consisted of adding ingredients to bowls, passing them to him to whisk and then mixing the ingredients together. We then got to eat the results which were delicious.
Recently I discovered Pidy ready to fill pastry products. They do a lovely crispy spoonette which I thought would be really nice served beside the mousse as an edible spoon. To make it a little bit more special I melted some white chocolate and drizzled it over the spoon then added some cream into the spoon. I think they made the mousse look extra special.
