Pork Chops Supreme
A delicious and simple pork chops recipe. Bread crumb covered chops are cooked in a tomato sauce in the oven for a melt in the mouth dinner.

Ingredients
4
pork chops
1
beaten egg
3/4 - 1
cup
tomato juice
1/2
cup
brown sugar
Salt and pepper
1
tbsp
vinegar
Crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 C Gas Mark 4
Dip pork chops which have been salted and peppered into beaten egg.
Roll in crumbs.
Brown quickly in hot fat
Put the chops into an oven proof dish
To make the sauce put the tomato juice, brown sugar and vinegar in a pan
Bring to the boil stirring all the time.
Boil for three minutes
Pour the sauce over the chops
Put in the oven for an hour.
Notes
Serve with mash and vegetables for a filling dinner
