Moroccan chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 85 g dried apricots
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 140 ml chicken stock
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp corriander
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp flour

Instructions

  • Add some olive oil into a pan and heat.
  • Chop the onions and garlic and gently fry until soft
  • Chop the chicken into pieces and brown.
  • Add the chicken stock to the pan and gradually add the flour, stirring so it is not lumpy.
  • Add the honey, tomato purée, tin of tomatoes, spices and chickpeas.
  • Chop the apricots and add them to the mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a slow cooker
  • Cook on high for around four hours
