Place the ribs into a large dish
Peel the onion and garlic and grate.
Mix the grated onion and garlic with the beer, Worcestershire sauce, salt, paprika and hot pepper sauce and pour the mixture over the ribs.
Leave to marinade for around four hours or overnight
Preheat the oven to 160C
Remove the ribs from the marinade, pat dry and place on a baking tray.
Bake for an hour and a half
Pour the leftover marinade into a pan and combine with the other ingredients
Bring to the boil and simmer until it has reduced by half.
Pour the glaze over the ribs, making sure they are well coated and cook until tender, around another half an hour.
