Hot Dog Hash

An easy and tasty hash that you can make with left over hot dogs, potatoes and onions.

  • Frying pan
  • Sharp knife


  • 2 hot dogs
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 onion
  • Salt, black pepper and paprika for seasoning


  • Chop the hot dogs into small pieces
  • Peel and chop the onion and garlic into small chunks
  • Chop the potatoes into small cubes.
  • Add some oil to the pan and heat on a medium heat.
  • Add the potatoes to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally until brown on the outside and soft in the middle
  • Add the seasoning and the onions and garlic and cook until soft
  • Add the hot dogs and cook until warmed through


If you have left over cooked potatoes you can use these, they will take less time to cook.
Serve with a fried egg and ketchup.
