Algerian Carrots

Ingredients

  • 450 g carrots
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Peel and chop the carrots and cook in boiling water until done.
  • Peel and crush the garlic clove
  • In a jug mix the oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, cinnamon and brown sugar.
  • Drain the carrots and cover in the oil mixture.
