This makes a delicious apple chutney that is perfect with roast pork

Ingredients
1½kgcooking apples
750glight brown sugar
500graisins
2mediumonions
1tbspwhole grain mustard
2tspground ginger
1tspsalt
700ml cider vinager
Instructions
Peel, core and chop the apples into small pieces
Chop the onions
Add all the ingredients into a pan and heat
Simmer for 30-40 minutes until the chutney is thick
Pour into sterilized jars and leave to cool
Notes
To sterilize the jars wash them in hot soapy water and rinse clean. Pour boiling water into them, empty and place in a pre-heated oven at 140C for twenty to thirty minutes.
