Plantain chips with ackee dip

A tasty dip for crisps or plaintain chips made using ackee

Ingredients

  • 1 pack plantain chips
  • 1 can ackee
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 -2 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • a clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Peel and chop the garlic into small pieces
  • Chop the spring onions into slices
  • Purée the ackee until smooth
  • Add the other ingredients and mix
  • Serve with plantain chips
