Soreen Bread and Butter Pudding

Ingredients

  • 25 g/1oz butter
  • Soreen toastie loaf
  • 350 ml/12fl oz whole milk
  • 50 ml/2fl oz double cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 25 g/1oz granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Grease a pie dish with butter
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/355F/Gas 4.
  • Butter the Soreen toastie slices and cut into triangles.
  • Arrange in the pie dish in layers.
  • Whisk together the milk, cream, sugar and eggs and pour over the Soreen
  • Place the dish in the oven and cook for 45 minutes until the custard has set
