Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into a large bowl
Make a well in the centre and add the milk, egg and maple syrup.
Mix well until a smooth batter is formed.
Add the melted butter and stir well.
Heat the oil in a frying pan.
Drop a tablespoon of batter into the pan for each pancake. Cook for about three minutes then flip and cook the other side. The pancakes should be golden.
Place on a warm plate while the pears are prepared.
