Cinnamon and Clarks Maple Syrup Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 200 g self raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 ½ tbsps Clarks Maple Syrup
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  • Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into a large bowl
  • Make a well in the centre and add the milk, egg and maple syrup.
  • Mix well until a smooth batter is formed.
  • Add the melted butter and stir well.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  • Drop a tablespoon of batter into the pan for each pancake. Cook for about three minutes then flip and cook the other side. The pancakes should be golden.
  • Place on a warm plate while the pears are prepared.
