Lentil soup
The easy lentil soup is perfect for a chilly day

Ingredients

Instructions
Peel the onion and carrot
Chop the onion, carrot and celery into small pieces
Add a little oil to a pan and heat on a low temperature
Add the onions, carrot and celery and cook gently until soft
Add the lentils, water and spices and simmer for around twenty minutes until thick
Notes
Serve with crusty bread. Why not double the recipe and make a big pan to do the week?
