Wear piercings

Piercings aren’t for everyone but they can certainly give a younger appearance. Especially those piercings that are worn in the ears, like helix piercing for example.

Some people might not have even got their ears pierced, so why not give it a go? It’s not as permanent as a tattoo and if you really don’t like the way it looks, it can always be taken out to simply heal up. Most piercings won’t look hugely noticeable either when they’ve healed.

Consider what sort of piercings to try and take the plunge!

Grow out your hair

When it comes to looking younger, they say hair is a great way to cheat the appearance of age. With longer hair, it can often make a person appear younger than they actually are. Even if the hair has turned grey, if you’ve got good genetics of thick and healthy locks, then it’s definitely worth growing it out.

Make sure to look after the hair with the right haircare products and avoid using too much heat over time to keep the hair looking healthy.

Use glowy skincare and makeup

For youthful-looking skin, look for skincare and makeup options that boast their glow-boosting benefits. There will be some skincare products that work deep into the skin to help revive that youthful glow.

Glow-centric primers, foundations and concealers are all going to be helpful in giving that skin its life back. Remember to finish off with a setting spray to lock in the makeup too! It also adds a bit of hydration back into the skin for that glowy look. It can also help you look more youthful with little sleep.

Drink plenty of water

In order to give that skin its youthful glow that it’s been missing, drink water. Drinking plenty of water can help greatly when it comes to looking younger. Ideally, you should be drinking a litre and a half of water each day. That can be easier said than done but it can make a real difference to the skin and how you feel too.

Limit alcohol and caffeine

Finally, be sure to limit the amount of alcohol and caffeine you drink. This is important because both can dry out the skin if consumed too much. This is particularly the case with alcohol and is the reason why we look so bad the next day. Try to restrict it where possible to help retain the youthful glow you’re after.

Looking younger doesn’t need to take a lot of effort and a lot of it comes down to just looking after your body more.
