The Loch Ness Monster.

Did you know that this mythical creature actually only originated in its story in the 1930s? Technically, the Loch Ness monster‘s story hasn’t been around all that often, but it originated in the lochs of Scotland where a large monster was seen swimming through the loch. Is it real? It could be a sea snake or some kind, it could just be a strange image of two creatures together. As yet, the Loch Ness monster has not been found.

The Chupacabra.

Originating in 1995, the chupacabra is a word that literally means goat sucker. The first sighting of this creature was way back in Puerto Rico, where a woman found eight of her sheep dead. She found each one with three puncture marks on their body bodies and always drained of their blood. This continues to happen over the years and the strange thing about this one is that the missing and dead animals were well documented. Exsanguinating livestock? Could it be a chupacabra?

Sasquatch.

Also known as BigFoot, this creature is thought to belong to a species that is known as Sasquatch. This is an ape-like creature and it’s believed to be living in the northern wildernesses of Canada. There have been hundreds of sightings of this one so we are tending to consider that this one is less mythical and more true.

A Bunyip.

A large rat-like creature, the Bunyip is said to live within the swamp regions of Australia. The tale of the Bunyip is thought to have originated from one of the aboriginal tribes, but there are no written records of the beginning of the story – only apparent lighting. It has been cited as far back as the early 1800s, with settlers from Europe reporting finding large mammal bones around the edges of dried-up bodies of water. He said the bones were larger than an ox, as the bones have been lost over the years it’s kind of impossible for us to test them.

Yeti

You might not have heard of this one, but roaming the slopes of the Himalayas is said to be a creature that’s an equivalent to the BigFoot in Canada. Reports of this one have been coming in for years so it is possible there is a creature roaming those mountains. Is it real? You decide.
